*All our groups are full with waiting lists, and those list have gotten so long they are currently closed as children may have left school before places come up!*

Our afterschool Golden Club for year 1 to year 6 runs every Monday, Tuesday  and Thursday in term time and they are going swimmingly!  It runs from 3:30 – 5:45 and we take bookings by the term and the session cost works out as £11.50 (and £10.50 for siblings) including snacks.

We pick up from Bishop Rd School and kids can be dropped off from other schools at from 3:30.

We run ALL YEAR ROUND whatever the weather. In the dark!  In the icy winds! We’ve got covered spaces as well as our strawbale building to warm up in.

It’s a joyous mix of outdoor fun –den building, nature exploring, veg growing, whittling, making, crafting, tree climbing, raft making, bridge building, flower picking, biscuit baking, fire starting and with children generally spending lots of time hooning around, letting off steam, making up their games and enjoying having free rein of the garden and just playing.  We have basically created exactly the club that we wished we could have gone to when we were at primary school!

I run the group with Sarah (Mondays),  Heather (Tuesdays) and Simon (Thursdays). They are all qualified in level 3 in playwork or forest school, they are experts of fire and tools and general all round stars.

We are small club with just 16 places and are currently full. Our waiting lists got too long so we had to close them before things got silly. To join the mailing list to find out when we open clink HERE
