Never eaten a pizza made in a giant clay frog? You’ve never lived!  Our much beloved Mr Fruggles the pizza frog is our fabulous clay oven.  Built in the summer 2013 we fire it up at events, kids days or on a Wednesday every couple of months or so just to treat ourselves.    Also everyone who signs up to our Friends of Golden Hill scheme get invited to a pizza evening in the summer, where we munch delicious salads from the garden and smile at everything we’ve achieved together. 

He’s made of a mix of clay from our pond, and straw and sand.  We were lucky to get two sunny Saturdays in a row or else being knee deep in clay all day might have been less fun.
