This year we are happy to launch our adventure days for families with adopted and fostered children and their siblings. We’d love to welcome you to our gorgeous garden and create a space where you and your children feel safe to build relationships, start friendships and enjoy the garden. It’s a new venture so we’re keen to hear from you how we’re doing, what you’d like to see here and ways that we can support your family to get involved.
They’ll be parachute games and music, sensory play and silly games, tree climbing, pond dipping, climbing, digging, crafting and being all together. £5 covers a delicious lunch that the children will help cook, including pizzas from the giant frog oven, then £2 each additional sibling. And if money is a barrier please choose the free option on the bookings page.
We start all together and come together for lunch and the end but -apart from that children can roam around and choose the activities they’d like to get involved in. If you feel a full day is too much it’s fine to leave early.
We have a warm indoor space and covered spaces but pleased come dressed for all weathers in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Partners, grandparents and supportive friends welcome along and we’ll feed you all a delicious lunch including vegan and gluten free options.
We already run days for families with a children with SEND and their siblings and you may find that you fit in both categories. You are very welcome along to which ever day works best for you – but as we are planning the same activities and have limited space please don’t book on to both 🙂
